London, March 16 – CFP Energy Group, the energy and environmental solutions provider, has completed a Sustainable Aviation Fuel certificate (SAFc) transaction for a global corporate seeking to address emissions from business travel and logistics.
The trade demonstrates growing corporate demand for credible, scalable solutions that enable organisations to support SAF deployment without disrupting existing travel or freight operations.
“SAFc has grown beyond being a concept,” said Axel Vanmeulder, SAFc Lead at CFP Energy Group. “Corporates are looking for solutions that are credible, scalable and commercially workable. Our role is to make SAF participation practical while helping bring the liquidity needed to accelerate market adoption.”
SAF certificates provide companies with a verified pathway to support the production and use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel while claiming associated emissions reductions. They help bridge the gap between near-term decarbonisation targets and the longer-term transition of aviation fleets and infrastructure.
CFP Energy structured the transaction to ensure robust governance, recognised registry alignment and straightforward implementation for the corporate buyer.
As the SAF certificate market develops, liquidity, transparency and trusted execution are becoming increasingly important. CFP Energy is positioning itself as an active market participant, connecting supply and demand while supporting corporates with sourcing, structuring and market access.
The transaction further strengthens CFP Energy’s role across carbon and environmental markets, where it supports organisations navigating mechanisms including
EU ETS, UK ETS and
CORSIA.
