Jonathan has over 25 years’ experience in investment banking, risk management, and project finance. Before founding CFP Energy, Jonathan co-ran the Nordic Financing Group function at Goldman Sachs, focusing on debt, equity, and liability risk management. Prior to this, he worked in the debt capital markets teams at both Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch.
Thomas has over 25 years’ experience in investment banking and risk management services across a variety of commodities. Prior to founding CFP Energy, Thomas managed the hedging function and treasury of AGA, a large international gas company, and was responsible for credit origination and risk solutions for the Nordic region of Merrill Lynch.
Catherine has over 25 years’ experience in energy trading, technology and risk management. Before joining CFP Energy, Catherine was CEO of Limejump, an Energy tech company, providing route to market access for renewable generators and optimising of grid scale batteries. Prior to Limejump, she worked at Gazprom Marketing and Trading for 11 years, including roles as COO of Trading and Global Director of Technology. Additionally, she has worked at Shell, and BP.
James has over 15 years of post-qualification experience in law and finance and was responsible for developing the legal counsel function of the business. Before joining CFP Energy in 2011, James managed a variety of finance transactions at Allen & Overy LLP, including infrastructure, renewables, and energy financing.
Mark Smith has over 25 years’ experience in accounting and finance across private equity and investment management. Before joining CFP Energy in 2014, Mark worked as a finance manager at a NBGI Private Equity and as an accountant at Gordian Knot, an investment management company.
Lee has almost two decades of experience in Treasury, across multiple products, managing exposures and trading Foreign Exchange (FX) and Interest Rate markets. In addition to income generation, Lee was the creator and owner of the 'Thought Leadership' business in Bank of Ireland, representing the Group on various external platforms including television, radio and print in addition to digital content creation. Lee is a Chartered Banker, a Certified Treasury Professional and is currently completing a course with the Institute of Directors in Ireland to become a Chartered Director.
At CFP energy Rafael leads the development of high-value technology and data solutions to deliver on our business mission. Rafael brings with him an extensive 20 years’ experience of systems development across renewables, asset management, and research, with a specialisation in cyber security and business resilience. Rafael has previously acted as CTO of Next Energy and CIO of 4CyberSec, TS Lombard, WiseEnergy.
As Head of Human Resources, Graham is a seasoned HR professional who brings a wealth of commercial and operational HR experience. His career spans senior commercial, operational, and human resource leadership roles held at British Airways Plc, Gazprom Marketing & Trading and most recently, The Crown Estate.
Felipe is a forward-thinking, strategic leader with 22 year’s experience in business innovation, digital transformation, and customer experience. Before joining CFP Energy, he worked for global brands such as Microsoft, Nokia and Santa Fe Relocation. He started his career working for digital innovation agencies such as Sapient, Digitas, Method and Ogilvy.
Robin has over 30 years’ experience as a banker, specialising in leverage financing across a variety of sectors, including sustainable and renewable energy, disruptive technology, and cleantech. Robin draws on his extensive experience to provide expert financial advisory, having previously worked at Dresdner, Bankers Trust/Deutsche, Lehman, and Augusta & Co.
Guillaume has over a decade of experience in cross-commodity risk management and structured products. Guillaume specialises in providing clients with complex and structured risk management strategies across a variety of commodities, with a particular focus on carbon and energy products. Before joining CFP Energy 2012, Guillaume worked in structured products at Société Générale.
